The Balloon puffer is our number one selling pufferfish. Every bit as personable and easy to care for, as the larger Porcupine puffer, just in a smaller size. These guys can grow to 18", but a more typical size in an aquarium is 12". The juveniles that we sell are imported out of Haiti, and are around 3". The ones we catch are usually 5-8". Keep in a FOWLR aquarium as they will eat your crabs and shrimp. Feed a meaty diet of shrimp, fish and clams.
