Flame Scallops (Ctenoides scaber) are actually a clam, and not a scallop. They have red mantles with either red or bright white tentacles. These are very sensitive, so they need to be acclimated slowly. They are non photosynthetic so they require additional feedings of phytoplankton, etc. They can move fairly quickly when they want to, and will move around your aquarium until they find the right spot.
