Peppermint Shrimp make great additions to reef, mixed reef, nano and non aggressive tanks. They act as cleaners and also help control aiptaisa (glass anemones), as they are one of their few natural predators. As with most shrimp, they tend to hang out in caves until feeding time, when they really come alive. They are an attractive clear with red highlights, coloration. Very hardy, and will eat just about anything. They tend to be more commonly available in the winter months.
