  • The Pink Tip Condylactis (Condylactis sp) or Condy, is the most common anemone in the western Atlantic. However, they are illegal to collect, so we import ours from Haiti. These are great anemones for first timers, as they are easy to care for, and their sting is mild. However, they do not host any clownfish, although sometimes clarkii's will deal with the sting, and nestle in them. Anemone shrimps and crabs will get along with them. There are many color variations, with the most common being bright white branches with pink or purple tips. They will move around to wherever they like the best in your aquarium, but tend to stay there, once they are happy. Feed meaty foods once a week or so.
