Red Ogo (Gracilaria parvispora) is a very attractive macroalgae. It ranges from bright red to burgundy and is hardy and fast growing. Tangs and other herbivorous fish love it. As with most macro algaes, it does best in a refugium where it helps reduce nitrates and phosphates. It prefers a minimum of 8 hours lighting at 5k spectrum or higher, and a medium flow. Can also be tumbled gently with air stones.
