The Swissguard or Peppermint basslet is probably the most stunning of all the basslets in the Caribbean. These are a deeper water species and we import them from Haiti. As with most basslets, these can be shy at first and need some hiding areas. However, they are good eaters, and once they feel safe they will typically be out in the open. Beautiful fish.
